DEMOSTRATION OF STOP WAR IN UKRAINE BY PUBLIC IN RAGE

What was a similar experience in the history of the USA and Russia today? It was the ‘Cuban Crisis’. It was called that because the Soviet Union secretly installed missiles with nuclear warheads in Cuba which were their political ally and had requested them. Security of the USA was in danger hence confrontation between the two superpowers was created. The World was on brink of a nuclear war when Cuba was surrounded by the USA Navy. The war was imminent before it reached a solution to disarm Cuba. It was an agreement to ‘give and take’. The Soviet Union removed missiles from Cuba same time the USA did the same, moving missiles from Turkey. The role of Cuba during the negotiations was negligent. She was required to implement the results of the agreement. The USA and Soviet Union stepped back to avoid nuclear war. This is a similar situation with Ukraine at present. The difference is the wisdom of the president of the USA John Kennedy and Soviet President Nikita Khrushchev. After that President, John Kennedy made a speech to the nation “ FOR, IN THE FINAL ANALYSIS, OUR MOST COMMON LINK IS WE ALL HABIT IN THIS PLANET, WE ALL BREATH THE SAME AIR, WE ALL CHERISH OUR CHILDREN’S FUTURE, WE ARE ALL MORTAL” This was the wisdom of a man who avoided wasting human lives for just proving an ideology to his personal ego. He was the HERO of humanity.

The crisis created between Russia and Ukraine happened because Russia wanted Ukraine to be a neutral country (no military existence and NATO) and the liberation of two states in her land. To avoid any confrontation negotiations should have taken place among The USA, NATO, EU and Russia with a consultation to Ukraine to implement them. Instead, powers of the world including G7, G20, and the United Nations Security council left Ukrainian on her own to deal with Russia. , they watch the developments of the war on the side by making noise about the Russian army moving near to her borders. It was a countdown to war. West did nothing to stop this war although they knew it was coming.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky should have followed John Kennedy’s footsteps to avoid bloodshed of children, old, women, men to save not only their lives also displacing and immigrating of the huge number of her citizens to other countries. Today’s human tragedy could have been avoided. Other so-called superpowers of the world now are watching human bloodshed, destruction of cities and ruined lives of the Ukrainians. They are providing more money more arms to kill more people. Playing BLAME games instead of trying to find a solution to the war to stop the disappearance of this nation.

HYPOCRISY is the word that describes today’s RUSSIAN/UKRAINIAN war. The noise of complaints and name callings coming from the USA, EU, CHINA while the rest of the world watching the horrors of lives diminishing in that country. If we look at the history, starting from Hiroshima/Nagasaki cities demolished from the earth by atom bombs dropped by the USA, following wars., Korea(NATO), Vietnam (USA), Cyprus (Turkey/Greece), Falkland (UK), Palestine (Israel), Libya (EU, UK), Afghanistan( Russia/USA), Georgia (Russia), Iraq(USA), Syria( Russia/USA), Crimea (Russia), Yemen (Saudi Arabia/Iran)and now Ukraine (Russia)all happened at isolated locations away from aggressors countries. They are mainly all between the superpowers ( The USA or Russia) and the underdeveloped third world countries. Any of these wars did not change the World map. Countries occupied, destroyed then left by themselves to deal with the ruins not only lives but the collateral damage done to their economies. Monetary help provided by the war-makers and aid associations such as Red Cross and Oxfam starts advertising help for the starving nations. The examples provided by the leading countries now are taken up by the small countries to follow their steps such as the Yemen war. Saudi Kingdom’s war against Iran taking place in Yemen and we are all watching it. MEDIA is very quiet. No blaming game just supply more arms to these two nations to kill more people in Yemen a liberal country. There is no justice. We do not see wars happening in America, South America, Africa (at least superpowers not involved) very peaceful continents because they do not produce petrol/gas or valuable minerals. If today’s war was a tribal one in Asia, Africa or South America it would not make a piece of news in the media.

The reality is in most wars, powerful nations will bully the powerless nations. Peaceful arms of the United Nations such as G7, G20 and Security Council were created to keep the peace in the world. Instead, Superpowers makes these Councils, creates the wars and these organisations can not stop them because they are not only judge and jury of the incident but also the criminals. The existence of these institutions is not respected. The International Criminal Court of Justice is also there to be used as a verbal threat to aggressive leaders without any powers.

Putin is called “ War Criminal” and expected an application will be made to ICJ. The reality is when he had wars with Afghanistan, Georgia, Crimea, bombed Syria on behalf of Assad, no other nation and the media made the issue of it. They were all page 10 news while people were massacred and lives were demolished. If he was charged by the Security Council at the time maybe we might not have the situation we are in with Ukraine. Of course, these rules also apply to the USA, EU, NATO. Their interference with other countries' freedom, liberty and independence were never questioned and leaders of these countries get away with murder and their actions against humanity all these years. There is one Law for leaders of ( president/prime ministers) Western superpowers and another for others, that creates disrespect for them and the International Criminal Court of Justice.

Reading articles written by the (past and present), USA, UK and EU presidents/prime ministers, do not make sense when writing about this war “Violation of International Law, Killing innocent people, Displacing the children, women, men, old, Aggression can not go unpunished, No conceivable justification, Aggressor must be punished “ if you are not obeying the same rules when you attacked and created wars at the other countries when it suits you, you are ignoring your vision and advice to the general public. It is called political hypocrisy. You are not serious whether you are Barrack Obama, Gordon Brown or Borris Johson.

Putin is a War Criminal for many wars that happened past and present. United Nations as usual helpless and can’t do anything for world peace. NO JUSTICE for PUTIN will bring lives lost and ruined in Ukraine and other countries' genocides. Lives will not be normal foreseeable future of these nations and their country.

Wars and Peace are in the hands of leaders. There are two sides to negotiate and compromise to stop the war. Still, it is not too late. Parties should be brought to the table to accept the reality which is Ukraine can not win. Rather than blaming each other, alternative solutions are to be discussed to save peace in the world. Otherwise, we should be judged doing nothing when everything turns to ashes.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky should follow in John Kennedy’s footsteps to avoid further bloodshed in his country. Russia knows no other country will dare to challenge her war against his country. For the Media, now your a big news but when everything settles you will be another incident of history and forgotten. This war could have been avoided if the USA, EU, NATO directly negotiated the problems with Russia and was given advice to Ukraine for her future. Instead, she had been used as a pawn in this conflict. Prevention could have been better than Treatment when the country is in the rubble. We should stop playing BLAME games start to bring solutions to the war. The simple message is “ THE COST OF THE LOSING LIVES OF YOUR PEOPLE FOR A PIECE OF LAND WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN FIGHTING FOR A PIECE OF LAND TO KEEP IT. PEOPLE’S LIVES ARE MORE VALUABLE THAN DEMOLISHING THEM. WHEN THEY ARE KILLED THEY CAN NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO THE OTHER SITE, LAND, MONEY, etc., THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BE REMEMBER AS HERO’S BUT CASUALTIES OF THE WAR.”

If a referendum has been done to get people's view’s on liberating two- states and becoming a neutral country such as Finland, Switzerland (no arms and Nato) today's picture of Ukraine could have been different.

What is next, Taiwan? Most probably it will be the Chinese turn to create a new problem for World Peace. Did we learn anything from the Ukraine experience? Maybe, but I doubt it. History will repeat itself.
